HP launches a variety of new printers in 2016

HP re-introduce their latest products that has been recognized by customers around the world, especially in Indonesia. HP also held an HP Commercial Print Launch 2016 at the Sheraton hotel Cotai Central, Macau on April 6, 2016. CHIP is one of the many media who are invited by HP to attend the event.


In 2016, HP issued several new types of printers that are divided into three line printers, LaserJet, PageWide, and OfficeJet. In addition to issuing some products, HP was also listening to the complaints of their customers about the level of security. Therefore, HP also introduced the HP Secure Managed Print Service.

Printer Laserjet Pro introduced in the event this time is the HP Laserjet Pro M501 with black toner capable of printing 6,000 pages hinggal. In addition, the HP Color LaserJet Pro M377 MFP introduced as a laser printer with fast printing and low power compared with its competitors. Both printers can also print on both sides of the paper.




At this same event, HP introduced a new technology called HP PageWide, even though they had previously introduced. Ink-jet printers will do the printing without requiring the movement of the print-head of his. Its print head itself is designed as wide as the paper it supports, up to A3 size. This printer can print quickly up to 75 pages a minute.

HP Printer PageWide launched at this event included PageWide Enterprise Color MFP 556 and 586 for micro businesses and medium-sized printing group. For workgroups and small businesses that print up to 6000 pages a month, HP offers PageWide 552dw Pro and Pro MFP 577dw. And lastly for those in need of printing up to 4500 pages a month, HP offers PageWide 452dw Pro and Pro MFP 477dw that can print up to 55 pages in a minute.




Series is the most widely introduced OfficeJet. For the purposes of printing up to 2,000 pages a month, HP issued OfficeJet Pro 8700 series (8710 to 8740) All in One and 8210. 8730, 8740, and 8210 now has a Secure Managed Print Service. And last for an office that requires printing up to 800 pages per month, HP OfficeJet Pro 6960 and 6970.

In Macau, HP not only launched printers only. There are still some products that they will launch tomorrow.
